Additional Driver Policy

Additional Drivers Fee: EUR 27.00 per driver per rental excluding vat. There is no charge for family members.

Age Requirements

Minimum rental age 25yrs for groups H1 – FCAR, H2 – LCAR, F - SDMR, L1 - SWMR  . All other car groups 19yrs. No Max age.

Young drivers under 21 yrs will be charged at EUR 5.00 per day excluding vat

Condition of Vehicle

Vehicle must be returned, normal wear & tear expected, in the same condition as when rented. If special cleaning is required a separate charge will be made directly to the customer

Cross Border Policy

Cars may be taken into Hungary, Czech and Slovak Republic, Slovenia, and Croatia. An additional surcharge will apply ranging from Euro 12.00 to Euro 18.00 per day depending on the car group and the country the car is being taken to. Deductibles will also apply depending on car group.  For Poland only catergorys ECMR, CDMR, CWMR and IDMR can be taken with an additional surcharge of Euro 70.00 per day. For vehicles taken to Poland the excess in case of damage,

theft of the car and theft of vehicle parts will increase to Euro 3.000. All charges will be payable locally.  Prior written consent from Alamo is essential before rental can be agreed. Advance notice is required at point of reservation.  Cars are not allowed to be driven into the following countries: Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria, Regions of the former CIS and former Yugoslavia.

License Requirements

Must have held a full drivers license for a minimum of one year.

One Way Rentals

No charge for Domestic one way rentals. International - please consult International One Way program. (IOWP).

Out of Hours Policy

After hours Charge - per hour EUR 24, (excl. VAT)

On request through reservations.

Payment Policy

Cash payments are not accepted. All major Credit cards. For group SDMR, SWMR, FCAR & LCAR two credit cards in the drivers name are required. One of these credit cards must either American Express or Diners Club

The deposit = estimated rental charge + excess amount +gas (the minimum amount is Eur 600)

If the customer has a product without insurances and his credit card does not cover the insurances is liable for the full value of the car. 

Refuelling Policy

Car supplied full. Return full or refuelling charges will apply.  Refueling charge: EUR 9.00 excluding Tax.

Roadside Assistance

Customer has to call the rental station during opening hours.  Otherwise road assistant phone 0043 1 2039690

Customer must complete a report form at time of incident, which are provided with the car.  Dependent on the circumstances we reserve the right not to replace the vehicle.

Special Equipment

Snow chains        = SNO    EUR 27.00  Per Rental

Ski rack                = SKR    EUR 27.00   Per Rental Groups FVMR, SVMR not available.

Child/infant seat   = CSI      EUR 27.00   Per Rental

Winter Equipment = WIN    EUR 3.60 Per day Max EUR 50.40 - Between 1^st November and 31^st March a Winter Equipment Fee applies to all rentals in Austria as all vehicles are winter equipped (This is a government requirement in Austria and a mandatory charge).

All Special Equipment includes VAT and is on request through reservations at the time of booking.

Reflective jackets are mandatory for all rentals in Austria.  Cars are equipped with two Jackets  which are already included in the rate.  For any additional jackets there is a charge of 2 EUR excl tax per rental.

Mobile phones are not available.

Surcharges

Airport surcharge is 15%.

Vehicle Registration Fee: EUR 3,60 per day excl. Tax - max. EUR 50.40,-/rental excl. Tax

Insurances & Waivers: (Please check your rate sheet as some insurances may be included in your rates)

CDW – Collision Damage Waiver

Reduces the amount of the renters damage responsibility to the deductible amount

S / CDW – Super Collision Damage Waiver

Reduces the amount of the renters damage responsibility to EUR 100 excl VAT

TP – Theft Protection

Reduces renters responsibility for loss/damage to the car by or following theft /attempted theft to the sum of the deductible.

DI – Cross Border Charge

Additional charges to drive vehicle from AT into SK, SI, HR, CZ, HU and PL   CONTACT MARKET SERVICES TO CONFIRM PRICES
