Additional Driver Policy

Additional drivers fee is EUR 20.07 + TAX per rental.

Age Requirements

Minimum rental age is 21 years for car groups M-MCAR, A–MCMN, B-EBMR, W-ECMR, X-CCMR,  D-ICMR, O2, Y-SCMR, I-CWMR, J-CVMR, R-CTAR, Z-EXMR. Minimum rental age is 23 years for car groups E-FCMR, L-SWMR, O-ECAR, N-IVAR, S-FVMR, K-SVMR. Minimum rental age is 25 years for car groups F-FFAR, P-LCAR, G-IFMR, T-PWAR, V-STMR. Drivers between 21 & 25 are charged an extra Euro 22.00 per day including tax, with a maximum charge of 10 days. There is no Maximum age rental.

Condition of Vehicle

Vehicle must be returned, normal wear & tear expected, in the same condition as when rented. If special cleaning is required a separate charge will be made directly to the customer

Cross Border Policy

Vehicles are permitted entry into: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom.( Corsica, Sardinia, Balearic as long as car is returned to the EURpean mainland). There is no charge.

Vehicles are NOT permitted to drive into: Albania, Belarus, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia & Montenegro, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine

Licence Requirements

Full licence is required that has been valid for a minimum of 1year

A further requirement is that the driver must present the following documentation: Either a Driving licence, Identity Card or Passport, The return tickets (train or flight) and a telephone number with a local contact.  This number must not however be for a mobile phone.

One Way Rentals

Euro 75 per rental VAT included on all public products for all normal car groups regardless of number of days. For Tour products the one way charge is free for 3 days plus (Euro 75 per rental VAT included for 1 - 2 days).  Domestic one ways between two locations in the same city area are free of charge.The following car groups FFAR, IFMR, FVMR, STMR, SVMR are not available Domestic One Ways. If these cars are dropped off at a different location to pickup then a penalty will apply locally up to the cost of between 230 & 450 Euro including tax. One-ways between the French Mainland and the Island of Corsica are not permitted. International One Ways - please consult the International One Way Policy (IOWP). These groups are not allowed for International One Way rentals IFMR, SVMR, CTAR, EXAR, STMR and FFAR.

Out of Hours Policy

Payment Policy

All major Credit cards issued in the drivers name are accepted. Debit cards, such as Visa Delta or Switch, are not accepted. At the point that the customer collects the car they will be charged a deposit of 1 Euro for all car types except  XFAR, STMR and LDAR.  For car types XFAR, STMR and LDAR 2 credit cards are required and 1500 euros will be authorised on each credit card. This is to cover the deductible and refuelling charges.

In Corsica : only for car groups S-FVMR the customer must provide 2 credit cards in the same name.

Cash payment is not permitted.

Refuelling Policy

Vehicle is supplied with a full tank. Return full or refuelling charges will apply as follows: EUR 2.08 per litre including VAT for petrol and EUR 1.92 per litre including VAT for Diesel.

In Corsica: EUR 1.94 per litre including VAT for petrol and EUR 1.71 per litre including VAT for Diesel.

The type of fuel to put in the car is mentioned on the contract on the cars documents in the accessory pocket and on the tank.  We systematically consider that they are responsible in case of any gas mistakes

*Winter equipped vehicle                                       WIN = EUR 25.00 daily to a maximum of EUR 125.99 per rental including TAX.

Snow Chains, Ski Racks and Winter Equipped Vehicle's only available for car groups C-CDMR, X – CCMR, H –IVMR, D – IDMR/ICMR,  and Y – SDMR/SCMR.                                                                                                                            

*Winter Equipped Vehicle's & Snow Chains are only available from 01 Nov - 30 Apr. The Winter Equipped Vehicle includes-4 snow/winter tyres, 1 x  Ski Racks (holds 2 pairs of skis),1 pair snow chains, 1 ice scrapper. On Request only, Contact Reservations for locations (Snow chains are not available for A group = EBMN cars at Nice Locations)

*One ways not allowed on any winter tyre equipped vehicle.  A penalty fee of EUR 230 is charged per rental otherwise.

Mobile telephones are not available.

Special Washing Equipment

A cleaning fee can be charged to the to clients if the car is returned in unacceptable conditions, and if it requires a special washing after the rental

Surcharges

Premium Location Fee is Euro 26.76 per rental excluding VAT (32.00 inc VAT) on all rentals picking up from Airports and Railway Stations in France Mainland.

Vehicle Licence Fee is mandatory at time of rental = Euro 2.26 per day including vat. Maximum charge is 4 days.

Tax

Insurances & Waivers:

CDW – Collision Damage Waiver

Reduces the renter’s financial responsibility to the sum of the deductible. All prices exclude VAT.

Not covered: Theft of personal effects or goods within the car. Damages done within the car from cigarette burns.  Damage to wheels, tyres and parts under the vehicle. Damages resulting from the use of wrong fuel.

In any accident, if the client has subscribed to the CDW or the TPC he is systematically charged for the deductible and then refunded for the difference between the excess amount and the damage costs, (except immobilization fees and administration fees)

If he has not subscribed to the insurance, he is charged for the whole amount of the damage.  Clients must fill in an accident report in all cases

 of damage within 24 hours.  Full deductible applies if not.

Third Party Liability

Third Party Cover is at least 1 million EUR

Super CDW

When purchased in addition to CDW, Super CDW waives the deductible. All prices exclude VAT.

TP – Theft Protection

Reduces renters responsibility to the sum of the deductible for loss/damage to the car by or following theft /attempted theft. All prices exclude VAT.

In the case of theft customers must file a police report within 24 hours and return a copy of the police report, the rental agreement and the keys to the rental station.  Responsibility cannot be waived in case of theft or damages due to a theft attempt (DEDUCTIBLE APPLY) Theft protection does not apply beyond the rental date agreed with the pick up location.
