Additional Driver Policy

Up to 3 additional drivers allowed, at 3 Jordanian Dinars per driver per day (exc VAT)

Age Requirements

Minimum rental age is 23 years. There is no maximum age limit. There is no young drivers surcharge.

Condition of Vehicle

Vehicle must be returned, normal wear & tear expected, in the same condition as when rented. If special cleaning is required a separate charge will be made directly to the customer

Cross Border Policy

Cars from Jordan are not permitted to leave the country.

Licence Requirements

Full valid drivers licence held for a minimum of 1 year. An international drivers licence is not required.

One Way Rentals

Vehicles may be returned to another National / Alamo car rental location.  Minimum rental length is 24 Hrs. (For all vehicles) . Charges are as follows : 30 JD per rental except between Amman City and Airport which is free in either direction. This does not have to be pre booked.

Payment Policy

The following method of payments are accepted: Visa, Mastercard, Amex, National Charge card, National Vouchers, Travellers cheques (In Jordanian Dinars, Sterling ,Euros, American Dollars) Cash not accepted as a deposit.  Credit card only.  Can pay cash at end of rental if required. A deposit is held on the credit card: For credit card payments: Basic rental charges, fuel, extras, damage excess liability and traffic fines, if CDW is declined: 500 Jordanian Dinars

Refuelling Policy

Vehicles are supplied with a full tank of fuel, and should be returned full.  Vehicles not returned full will be charged at pump price plus 10%.

Roadside Assistance

Break down procedure: 24 Hr breakdown service is available. Details will be provided at the time of rental.

Accident procedure: Customer must obtain a police report at the scene of the accident. The car must not be moved until the police have attended the scene. Customers must inform the rental office immediately.

Cell Phone       PHN= per day 3.00 JD + VAT      ON REQUEST - 48 Advance notice required - With 100JD Deposit

Equipment is available for all cars.

Insurances & Waivers:

CDW – Collision Damage Waiver

Reduces the amount of  the renters damage responsibility  to the sum of the deductible .

Third Party Liability

Third Party Cover is at  least 1 million EURs

SCDW - Super Collision Dame Waiver

Super CDW reduces the damage liability to zero.

TP – Theft Protection

Reduces the renters responsibility for loss/damage to the car by or following theft /attempted theft, to the sum of the deductible
