Additional Driver Policy

There is no limit to the maximum number of additional driver's and the same rental policy applies to additional driver's as the main driver.  The additional driver fee is £5.00 per driver for the full duration of the rental.

Age Requirements

The minimum age is 20 years old.  For car group L/PFAR the minimum age is 23 years. There is no maximum age limit and no young driver's fee.

Condition of Vehicle

Vehicle must be returned, normal wear & tear expected, in the same condition as when rented. If special cleaning is required a separate charge will be made directly to the customer

Cross Border Policy

Licence Requirements

Minimum driving experience of 12 months on a full licence with no serious indorsements (drink driving & dangerous driving etc).  An international driver's licence is not required.

Payment Policy

Currency is Sterling.                                                     

Acceptable methods of payment are: Visa, Diners, MasterCard, American  Express and Travellers Cheques (in Sterling).  National Charge Cards,     

National Vouchers and Eurocheques are not accepted.                       

Credit card details are required for a security deposit (note the card  will not be authorised).                                               

Refuelling Policy

Vehicles are supplied with half a tank charged dependant on the length of hire.  Can return the same if requested.

Roadside Assistance

For breakdown there is a 24 Hour Service - Call: 01534 495 000. A replacement vehicle will be provided if necessary.

In case of an accident, phone the police and local rental office. 

A replacement vehicle will be provided for breakdown's and accident's if necessary.

Special Equipment

 Infant Seat (CSI) - £2.00 per day

Child/Toddler Seat (CST) - £2.00 per day

Booster Seat (BST) - £1.00 per day

All special equipment is on freesale with no advance booking hours and no deposit required.  Available for all car groups.

It is compulsary to have child seats/child restraints.

Surcharges

For Jersey only there is a Vehicle Licence Fee of £4.00 per rental and a Vehicle Registration Duty (VRD) of £1.00 per day.  There are no surcharges for Guernsey.

CDI – Crash Damage Insurance

Reduces the amount of  the renters damage responsibility  to the sum of the deductible .

TP – Theft Protection

Theft protection is included in the rental rate
