Additional Driver Policy

Additional driver charge is LM 1.50 per day. Unlimited drivers allowed

Age Requirements

Minimum rental age is 21 years. There is no upper age limit, but if the driver is over 70 years they need a doctors certificate confirming they are fit to drive. Drivers aged 21-24 years will be charged LM 2.00 per day

Condition of Vehicle

Vehicle must be returned, normal wear & tear expected, in the same condition as when rented. If special cleaning is required a separate charge will be made directly to the customer

Cross Border Policy

Vehicles are not allowed outside Malta, except to the Island of Gozo

Licence Requirements

Drivers must hold a full drivers licence for more than 2 years. Drivers with Drink Driving or Overspeeding endorsements will not be allowed to rent cars.

Out of Hours Policy

Available only from our Airport location at a charge of LM 4.00, request through reservations

Payment Policy

Cash rentals are NOT permitted. All major credit cards accepted. Eurocheques, Travellers cheques in USD & GBP. Deposit is held against a credit card until the return of the vehicle.  A charge or LM 100.00 will be taken as a deposit (this deposit is over and above rental charges).

Refuelling Policy

Car is supplied with a half tank of fuel. Customers are required to return cars with no fuel. No claims for refunds for fuel returned in tank at the end of rental will be accepted.

Special Equipment

Child/Toddler seat   CST = LM 1.50 per day       Suitable for 2 to 4 year olds.  Infant seats are not available for Jeeps and  minibuses.

Luggage rack         LUG = LM 1.50 per day       Only valid for car group E=CWMN                                                                     

All equipment is on request,with 7 days advanced notice required.  Mobile phones are not available                        

Surcharges

Airport surcharge is LM 4.00 per rental

Insurances & Waivers:

CDW – Collision Damage Waiver

Reduces the renters financial responsibility to 100.00 LM

Third Party Liability

Third Party Cover is at least 1 million Euros

TP – Theft Protection

Reduces renters responsibility for loss/damage to the car by or following theft /attempted theft to 100.00 LM
