Additional Driver Policy

Additional driver fee is EUR 34.50 including tax per driver, per rental.

Age Requirements

Minimum rental age is 21years. Drivers under the age of 21 can rent a car if they have held a license for over one year; and are subject to a charge of EUR 13.50 per day up to EUR 94.50 including tax. Only one young driver permitted per rental. There is no maximum age.  Driver under 25 cannot rent FDMR, FWMR, PDMR & SFMR.

Condition of Vehicle

Vehicle must be returned, normal wear & tear expected, in the same condition as when rented. If special cleaning is required a separate charge will be made directly to the customer

Cross Border Policy

On request only.  All car groups can be driven into the EEC countries plus Switzerland. Must be advised at time of booking.

Licence Requirements

Must have Full Current Licence valid at least 1 year.

One Way Rentals

Domestic - no charge for 3 days minimum rental.  For rentals of 1 or 2 days:

From Lisbon Apt, Lisbon DT, Cascais and Leiria to Braga, Porto Apt, Porto DT, Porto Palacio, Albufeira, Faro Apt, Faro DT, Portimao and Vilamoura the charge is Euro 67.00 including VAT (and vice versa).

From Braga, Porto Apt, Porto DT and Porto Palacio to Albufeira, Faro Apt, Faro DT, Portimao, Vilamoura, Cascais, Leiria, Lisbon DT and Lisbon Apt the charge is Euro 67.00 including VAT (and vice versa).

One ways of 1 or 2 days between Braga, Porto Apt, Porto DT and Porto Palacio (intra-city) are free of charge

One ways of 1 or 2 days between Cascais, Leiria, Lisbon DT and Lisbon Apt (intra-city) are free of charge.

All car groups available.

International - Please consult the International one way program (IOWP). Only the following vehicles are available for International One-Ways: A = EBMN, B = EDMN, E = CCMR, T = EDMR.

Out of Hours Policy

In addition to "office hours" policy, an additional charge of EUR 43.50 including VAT will apply, request through reservations.

Payment Policy

All major Credit Cards are acceptable, no cash payments are acceptable. We do hold a deposit on the credit card until the vehicle is returned. Deposit is made up of Rental Charges plus Excess plus Additional Items purchased(in case of voucher) For credit card payments: Non Excess Waivable amount. If CDW is declined: Non Excess Waivable amount.

Refueling Policy

All vehicles are delivered with a full tank of petrol and vehicles must be returned in the same conditions. If the vehicle is returned with less than a full tank, in addition to petrol shortage an extra charge of Euro 10.50 + VAT for refuelling service will apply.

Roadside Assistance

Roadside assistance is provided 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Emergency telephone number is: +35121 440 50 05.

Special Equipment

Child Seat           CST = Eur 7.50 including Tax – maximum Eur 80.00, including tax, all car groups

Booster seat        BST = Eur 6.30 including Tax – maximum Eur 60.00, including tax, all car groups

GPS = Eur 11.00 including tax – maximum Eur 165.00

Child seats=0-36mths.Booster seats=2-5yrs

Child seats must be in the rear of the vehicle

We provide one fluorescent jacket per rental as the law requires, non returned jackets are charged at 6.00 Euro.

Surcharges

Airport surcharge is EUR 27.50 including VAT per rental.

Road Tax = EUR 1.70 per day, maximum Eur 25.50 including VAT

Insurances & Waivers:

CDW – Collision Damage Waiver

Reduces the renters financial responsibility to the sum of the deductible.

Third Party Liability

Third Party Cover is at least 1 million EUR

SCDW – Super Collision Damage Waiver

Super Collision Damage Waiver:- If purchased, the CDW and TP deductible amounts can be waived by purchasing super CDW. SCDW is not available for Car group SFMR.

TP – Theft Protection

Reduces the renters responsibility for loss/damage to the car by or following theft /attempted theft, to the sum of the deductible.
