Additional Driver Policy

Additional Driver has to have a valid driving licence, held for Maximum 2 YEARS. Charge of EUR 5 per day + TAX

Age Requirements

Minimum age is 21 to drive ECMR, CCMR & ICMR. Minimum age is 25 to drive PCMR, PVMR & MVMR. There is a young drive surcharge (21-24 years) of EUR 5.00 + TAX per day. There is no maximum age required.

Condition of Vehicle

Vehicle must be returned, normal wear & tear expected, in the same condition as when rented. If special cleaning is required a separate charge will be made directly to the customer

Cross Border Policy

24hrs notice required. Vehicles can be driven into : Austria, Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Republic of Macedonia, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Switzerland. Cars will not be permitted to cross into any other country.  No other documents are required except car license, driver's licence, rental agreement, green card (insurance).

Licence Requirements

Drivers over 21 who are possession of a valid drivers licence held for at least 2 years can drive the rented car.

One Way Rentals

Domestic - All locations within Serbia And Montenegro Free of charge. 24hrs notice required for this country.

International one-way rentals are available - please refer to International One Way Program (IOWP).

Payment Policy

All major credit cards are accepted (except Amex) together with National vouchers, travellers cheques, Eurocheques and National charge card. A credit card is always required for the deposit. For credit card payment a deposit is held double the amount of agreed rental until the vehicle is returned.Deposit for Credit card Rentals – EUR 500. Deposit for Cash rentals – EUR 1000.

Refuelling Policy

Vehicle will be supplied full tank of fuel and should be returned full. If not a refueling service charge of Euros 7.00 + vat + fuel will be charged.

Roadside Assistance

Provided by the company and a 24 hours mobile phone number is available. Any repairs must be carried out by the relevant manufacturer. For replacement tyres or wing mirrors prior authorisation must be obtained from the rental office who will advice of the nearest authorised dealership or service point and the charges will be refunded. No unauthorised repairs will be refunded.

Any accident must immediately be reported to the nearest police station and to the Alamo rental location. Police must always attend the accident and a police report file number must be obtained. An accident report form supplied with the car documents must be completed with all details of the accident, third party driver insurance if another party is involved and must be handed in to the nearest Alamo rental office.  If procedures are not followed a replacement vehicle may not be supplied.

Special Equipment

Infant Seat (up to two years)                     CSI = EUR 5 + TAX per day, maximum EUR 30 - On request.

Child/Toddler Seat (up to seven years)    CST =EUR 5 + Tax per date, maximum EUR 30 - On request.

Snow Tires/Chains                                    SNO = EUR 5 + TAX per day, maximum EUR 15 - on request. (only available at Belgrade Airport & Downtown).

CDW – Collision Damage Waiver

Reduces the amount of  the renters damage responsibility  to the sum of the deductible .

Third Party Cover is at  least 1 million EURs

TP – Theft Protection

Reduces the renters responsibility for loss/damage to the car by or following theft /attempted theft, to the sum of the deductible
