| Collision Damage Waiver | Collision Damage Waiver – Theft Protection (CDW-TP) is not insurance. The purchase of CDW is optional and not required in order to rent a vehicle. You may purchase optional CDW-TP for an additional fee. If you purchase CDW-TP, we agree, subject to the actions listed on the rental agreement that invalidate CDW, to contractually waive your responsibility for all or part of the cost of damage to, loss or theft of the vehicle. CDW-TP includes Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) and Primary Liability Insurance (PLI). CDW-TP covers damage or theft of the rental vehicle and does not cover partial theft or accessories ie., side mirror, hub caps etc. A deductible will range from $1500 - $3500. In the event of a rollover the deductilbe will increase to a range $3000 - $5000. If CDW-TP is declined, renter is responsible for the full value of the vehicle. |

| Additional Driver | All additional drivers must meet all rental requirements. Additional drivers must appear at the rental counter with the primary renter. | Cross Border Policy | Unrestricted driving within Chile. Driving into Argentina is permitted. Off Road Driving is not allowed. A special permit is required in order to cross the border into Argentina. The rental location must have a customer's signed rental agreement in order to request the permit. The permit is issued by the Chilean Government 24 hours after receiving the signed agreement. The permit can only be requested Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm. The permit cost is $200 USD. The permit is only valid for 30 days from issue date. In addition to the permit, the Argentinean government requires renters to purchase liability insurance at a cost of approximately $100.00 USD. Alamo charges this at counter and the payment is made to the insurance company. Alamo is not responsible for any increase in cost of this liability insurance. We strongly recommend customers/renters contact the Argentinean government prior to crossing the border for complete and updated information. Customers may contact Mapfre, an insurance company based in Chile, at (56) 2-694-7000. Crossing into other countries is not permitted. |
